  1. I joined MBA in a private college through convenor quota at the time of counselling. some pg private colleges are taking special fees from the students at the admition time Rs 5500 and the government also paying the special fees to the college through fee reimbursement, the college is not refunding the special fees to the students what they have paid at the time of admition. Is this fair on part of the college. The Andhra Pradesh government should take necessary actions towards this issue and return special fees 5500 to the students who paid at the time of admition in to the college.

    1. You are right.Collecting special fee from the students of CET courses like MBA/MCA/BTECH/B.PHARMACY at the time of admission is unfair on part of colleges while govt of AP is reimbursing Rs.4500/-( you mentioned Rs.5500/-.But out of this Rs.1ooo/- is refundable amount which will not be reimbursed by govt.So Rs.4500/- is the special fee amount reimbursed by govt of AP in addition to your tuition fee )so as special fee to the colleges under RTF on behalf of students. Some of the forums have brought this issue to the notice of govt requesting for crediting the special fee amount into student account along with MTF and this issue is probably under active consideration of govt, I think the govt is going to take a pro-student decession on this issue.
Back to ur issue, if you have already paid the special fee to the college and that was recorded in a receipt, just ask ur college authorities to repay that special fee amount to you.If they are unwilling to do it so,you may file a complaint before the DD(SW) and he/she will take care of it and your problem will definitely be resolved. Note that your complaint should be supported by the enclosures of special fee paid receipt and the status of ur Epass application.
      ...good luck..
